Getting it.

Recently, the iPad was described by a technology journalist (it was Rupert Goodwins of ZNet, but it could have been one of many) as "an oversized, overpriced, not very useful mobile phone that can't make phone calls". I certainly don't expect everyone to love the device – indeed, it is imperfect in a number of ways – but not 'getting it' whilst 15 million people worldwide do 'get it' comes across to me as simply out-of-touch with technology and what drives it forward.
