Morning intervals. Longer but fewer today - 4x800m with the usual 1/2 mile warmup and cool downs. Averaged around 7 minute-miles in the sets.
Back in the gym. Busy class tonight, but with the weather suddenly weirdly warm we could spill out of the archway to do snatches and back squats.

And that's week one complete! Let's face it, week one is always going to be the easiest: fresh legs, the novelty of a new regime, all of the new gear. Still, I'm pretty pleased so far.

Rest Day
Due to the excessive trainer buying of this week, today was the second session in a new pair of shoes, this time something more supportive.
Setting off and to be honest having worn Adizero Feathers for over a year I felt like I was in remedial shoes, and the first couple of miles were sluggish. Once I got to mile seven and had two Haribo, I literally find the spring in my step and cruised the rest. I even kepy my cool passing canal walkers, which is impressive I think. I didn't push anyone in and didn't even consider punting a small dog.
