Rest Day
Today I Learned: canals are confusing. Not only do they go in two directions, turns out there is more than one canal! And, they have junctions! Madness.
Anyway, the result was a couple of miles longer than planned, so that can only be a good thing.
I also had my dreams finally shattered by Bose earphones. I've stuck by them, despite an average lifespan of 10 months and a good replacement policy. But my latest pair, the specifically-designed-for-sports Bose SoundSports have given up after 8. Sad face.

Tried a tempo run in the morning today. Spoiler: it's really hard. 4 miles were awful, last mile was great.
Note to self: more breakfast next time or you'll be hungry all day.
